It would be nice if you could get your hands on a cheaper brand name of a soundbar and compare it to this one. Sometimes the price tag can be very greedy and not worth what they are asking for. That sony soundbar is extremely expensive! And it's hard to believe because I've seen other brands out there are very good as well but no where near it's price tag that sony is selling it for.
Do you think this set up is better than the 950a by sammy or the sony ht a9?

I am a Cubase user and with recent update they added Dolby Atmos support. I don't have room, nor money to set up proper, studio quality speaker system for Dolby Atmos so I thought I might try a soundbar for my living room to test some of my stuff out. It's 7 months later and the price on UK website is 100GBP higher than in this video… 😆
My SW3 sub died after 5 months but Sony fixed it for me. This system beats the hell out of the old "component" system I had where I could not hear the dialog on some movies so I had to turn up the volume till the sound effects almost deafened me.

Thank you sir for making this valuable vidoe. Many useful information and recommendations. Actually I just received the A7000 soundbar and SW5 but I'm facing an issue. Initialization and calibration worked as expected. I can hear the sound from both items but when I play anything on TV (cable, YouTube, Netflix,…) subwoofer doesn't work. Bass volume is MAX. Green Led is on. HDMI connectdd to both eARC ends. I'm using LG C1 TV. Tried many different settings but unfortunately nothing helped. Any advice please. Thank you

I would like to know how does this system compare to a stereo 2.0 setup for music, assuming the stereo system would be a lower priced, entry level audophile, 3way tower speakers, let's say a Kef or Canton tower, with 4 drivers and a decent amp.

Dolby Atmos… I'm not cutting holes in my ceiling either, brother. If I'm hearing harps over my head, I've got bigger problems.

That single rear speaker costs more than my entire 5.1 cinema system. I'm sure it's better, just not convinced it's that much better to cost more than 5 speakers and a sub.
